SIAQ – CO Sensor (AC or EC)

The SIAQ (Smart Indoor Air Quality) product line from Sicflux represents the latest innovation in technology designed to enhance indoor air quality. With an automation-focused and innovative approach, it uses smart sensors and advanced algorithms to monitor and control air quality in real time, ensuring a healthy and comfortable environment. SIAQ’s complete and integrated solutions help reduce allergies and respiratory issues, promoting well-being and improving indoor air standards.

Sicflux’s CO Sensors/Controllers measure the level of Carbon Monoxide (CO) in parts per million using an electrochemical sensing element, which detects CO concentration through a chemical reaction that generates an electric current proportional to the amount of CO in the air.

Key Benefits:

Occupant Safety: Detects and prevents exposure to dangerous levels of CO, reducing the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Energy Efficiency: Reduces energy consumption by adjusting ventilation as needed, avoiding over-ventilation.

Sicflux’s CO sensors/controllers can be integrated into Building Automation Systems (BAS) to dynamically manage ventilation. However, they already feature built-in intelligence, functioning as IoT controllers, and can be connected directly to the Sicflux fan line, including both single-phase (AC or EC) and three-phase models.

FAQ

The main function of an exhaust fan is to extract gases and vapors to the outside, renewing the indoor air.

When purchasing your exhaust fan, be sure to check the dimensions of the device and the manufacturer’s installation guidelines.

To increase airflow, you can place one exhaust fan next to another, double the duct size, or use a higher-capacity fan. To increase pressure, they must be installed in series—one behind the other.

The installation must comply with standard NBR 16401/2008 in terms of performance, dimensions, and construction features.
A good exhaust system should always improve air quality, meeting the needs of your environment. If you’re unsure about the best product for your space, you can contact one of our specialists. Our team is highly trained and has the technical knowledge to help you make the right choice.

Energy consumption depends on the type of fan and the environment where it is installed.
Sicflux’s exhaust fan lines have the advantage of providing air quality and thermal comfort without increasing your energy expenses.

Exhaust fans can be installed in any room where the goal is to promote indoor air renewal, and they are especially beneficial in kitchens and bathrooms. They are also essential in larger environments, such as industrial facilities and commercial establishments.

Yes, the fan can operate continuously without reducing its expected lifespan.

The difference lies in airflow—the amount of air moved by the product. The higher the number, the greater the volume of air it circulates, resulting in better indoor air renewal.
