SIAQ – CO2 Sensor (AC or EC)

The SIAQ product line (Smart Indoor Air Quality) by Sicflux represents the latest innovation in technology to enhance indoor air quality. With an innovative approach focused on automation, it uses intelligent sensors and advanced algorithms to monitor and control air quality in real-time, ensuring a healthy and comfortable environment. The complete and integrated SIAQ solutions reduce allergies and respiratory issues, promoting well-being and improving the environment.

Sicflux CO2 Sensors/Controllers measure the Carbon Dioxide (CO2) level (in parts per million) using a sensitive element known as NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared Sensors), which uses infrared light absorption to measure CO2 concentration with excellent accuracy and durability.

Main Benefits: Air Quality: Keeps CO2 concentration at healthy levels, improving indoor air quality.

Energy Efficiency: Reduces energy consumption by adjusting ventilation as needed, avoiding excessive ventilation.

Comfort and Productivity: Provides a more comfortable environment for occupants, increasing productivity and well-being.

Measurement Range: 0-2000 ppm
Can be directly connected to Sicflux fan lines, both single-phase (AC or EC) and three-phase.

It has digital and analog outputs that allow for fan activation and/or modulation. It can be configured for PID or On-Off operation with hysteresis.

For EC Motor: Parameters and setpoints are configured via a mobile app or BMS software.

Communication: Bluetooth networks, Wi-Fi. Optional: Serial Bacnet*

FAQ

The main function of the extractor is to remove gases and vapors to the outside, renewing the indoor air.

When purchasing an extractor, don’t forget to check the equipment’s dimensions and the manufacturer’s installation guidelines.

To increase airflow, you can place two extractors side by side, double the duct size, or use a higher-capacity extractor. To increase pressure, they must be installed in series — that is, one after the other.

The installation of an air extractor must comply with the NBR 16401/2008 standard, including performance, dimensions, and construction characteristics. A good extraction system should ensure better air quality, adapting to the needs of each space. If you’re unsure which product is best for you, you can contact one of our specialists. Our team is well-trained and has the technical knowledge to help you make the best decision.

Energy consumption will depend on the type of extractor and the environment in which it is installed.
Sicflux’s extractor lines offer the advantage of improving air quality and thermal comfort without increasing energy consumption.

Extractors can be installed in any space where air renewal is needed. They are especially useful in kitchens and bathrooms. They are also essential in larger environments such as industrial facilities and commercial establishments.

Yes, the extractor can run continuously without affecting its lifespan.

The difference lies in airflow — that is, the amount of air the unit moves. The higher the number, the greater the volume of air renewed in the environment.
